A creamy-yellow translucent color, very similar to the Banana Wax Pepper. Thin skin with thick flesh due to immaturity. Picked at an immature stage, it has a sweet flavor. When the color changes to an orange-red & the heat rises to an intense heat while keeping its sweetness. Great to pickle this pepper or slice raw to top pasta dishes or salads!
